From the first contact, my experience with the MD has been positive, supportive, and helpful. I had been through two editing processes with MD - the big picture one where I learnt how to order the information, what to cut, and what to add or explain better, and the line by line one where I learnt how to write better (and spell). Both sessions were necessary to leave me with a manuscript which I could be satisfied with. It was good to have a telephone conversation with my mentor and I was buoyed to learn that MD can help me with the next phase also -bringing the manuscripts to the attention of agents.
