I’m Heather
and I love stories
Heather has always lived more inside her head than out of it. As a kid, her mom would find her simply staring at the wall, engrossed in her imagination. She wrote a lot of really bad fan fiction then grew up and went to college, where she studied editing and marketing.
For more than a decade, Heather has worked doing both marketing and editing for entrepreneurs and writers. She discovered that authors are her favorite kind of entrepreneur. She greatly admires anyone who has the persistence to finish a story and share this secret, intimate part of themselves with the world. She loves working with authors to bring characters to life. Her favorite genres include fantasy and romance.
Heather is an advocate for thoughtful representation. As a mother of a child with disabilities, she’s seen how much representation means to her family.
Heather is a wife of one and a mom of two. If she isn’t reading, writing, or mom-ing, you’ll find her in the mountains (and let’s be honest, she’s probably listening to an audio book). Heather would love to work with you to enhance your story and get it ready to go out into the world.
We focus on education and application of writing skills.
